Rebecca Traister, Author Of ‘All The Single Ladies’

An NPR piece I came across recently:

Interview: Rebecca Traister, Author Of ‘All The Single Ladies’ : NPR

and a NY Times article by the same writer:

What Women Find in Friends That They May Not Get From Love

Any thoughts on these?

This article, “What Women Find in Friends That They May Not Get From Love” makes me wonder can we expand the definition of family to heterosexuals women who have created a bond through friendship?

My opinion is that a family can take any form. If the group you are in bring whatever secure, and safe means to you, then it is a family. What do you all think?
